A cruise is something that has been on both of our bucket lists for a long time. We decided we couldn't pass up the opportunity to check it off together ON OUR HONEYMOON.

We've booked a 7 day cruise to Ensenada leaving the day after our wedding. Sea dog that Chris is, he decided to spoil us with an aft facing, balcony cabin that will face the horizon the whole way to Ensenada. Can you say 'romantic sunset'...

We'll be stopping at several ports along the way and have scheduled shore excursions at each of them with the exception of Los Angeles.

In Santa Barbara, we'll finally get to do that whale watching trip. We've tried three times in Monterey and been foiled for a variety of reasons. Hopefully mother nature will cooperate and show us some beautiful whales off Santa Barbara.

Next up, San Diego Zoo. One of the best zoos in the country if not the world. We're excited to be able to visit.

In Ensenada, we'll be taking a tour that introduces us to a local geyser and offers us the opportunity to shop at a local market.

There are two full days scheduled for 'at sea'. The first one we plan on spoiling ourselves with a couples massage and spa treatment. Lord knows we'll need to relax a little bit after all the hustle and bustle of planning our wedding. On the way back, we plan to keep to ourselves for the entire day. Breakfast on the balcony, lots of 'quiet time' alone and dinner with the sunset on the balcony to top things off.
