To begin, our family and friends are just so scattered across many states. We thought hard about how we could accommodate everyone and it just wasn't working out. We had talked about going on a cruise before and a few people suggested eloping so the idea to get married at sea came up. We chose Princess Cruises because we thought they would be able to live stream the wedding for people at home to watch only to learn they no longer do it because the connection is so poor. But at least we will be getting married by the captain of the ship, and to us that seemed pretty unique and appropriate. Nothing like a nautical nuptial! |
