We are so excited to be exploring Greece, Italy, Montenegro and Spain on our dream honeymoon! If you'd like to help us enjoy our trip, there is a list of our plans and activities below. We will be visiting 6 ports and hope to explore them all. We have 2 exciting excursions planned in Santorini, Greece and Naples, Italy!

In Greece we will transfer from ship to shore board a motorcoach to begin our extensive tour of beautiful Santorini. Known for its quiet beauty and spectacular sunsets, this spot boasts breathtaking views of neighboring volcanoes. The next stop is dramatic Mt. Prophet Elijah, which offers panoramic views as far as the eye can see. The highest point on the island, 2,000 feet above sea level, Mt. Prophet Elijah is located between the villages of Pyrgo and Kamari and shares its peak with a monastery of the same name. We will continue on to a traditional winery on the island for an opportunity to sample the fruit of the local vine. Lastly, we will have a traditional Greek lunch, a wonderful opportunity to sample the foods of the region and the fresh ingredients native to the area. We will also, step inside the Prehistoric Museum and be transported back in time. Located in Fira, the island's capital, the museum's display features fine pottery, figurines, and carvings ranging from the 25th to the 1st century B.C.

In Naples, our tour begins in Naples with a 30-minute motorcoach ride to the Pompeii ruins. We will have an opportunity to stop at a cameo factory where artisans apply skills handed down for generations, intricately carving seashell or coral into beautiful jewelry-true works of art and beautiful keepsake souvenirs. Pompeii is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here we'll discover the archeological excavations of a lost city buried deep beneath the ash when Mt. Vesuvius violently erupted in 79 AD. It was a monumental natural disaster that killed thousands and entombed the city under ash. Explore the grounds on this 90-minute guided tour of the excavated city as your guide talks about the remarkably preserved remains that hint at daily life-their customs, buildings and cuisine; how they entertained, decorated and lived. The eruption of Vesuvius preserved a moment in time more than 2,000 years ago, so that we may learn about the lives of the ancient Romans. Pompeii before the eruption was known as a vacation community for high society. It had a forum, amphitheater, gymnasium, shops and an aqueduct that delivered water for irrigation, fountains and private baths. Some of the ruins are remarkably preserved with elaborately detailed mosaics and colorful frescoes decorating the interiors of wealthy homeowners' villas. We'll return to the motorcoach for a 75-minute ride to the charming village of Sorrento overlooking the Bay of Naples and offering breathtaking views. In Sorrento, we'll enjoy an authentic lunch using seasonal ingredients of the Campania region at a local restaurant. Lunch is followed by free time for a photo opportunity and a stroll down to the Sorrento Pier. Corso Italia is Sorrento's flower-lined main boulevard, we'll find local shops, designer boutiques and cafés. Take a stroll down to the Sorrento Pier. The next leg of the tour continues on the stunningly beautiful isle of Capri. A 30-minute hydrofoil/jet boat ride delivers you to a cable car and then to world-famous Capri.

We also look forward to relaxing at the spa and relaxing over a nice bottle of wine or dinner. We can't wait to share all of our adventures and photos with you when we return!
