You are precious in everyway, the SUNSHINE of my day, the JOY of my soul and the LOVE of my life.

We met the summer of 2013 at NorthBeach Campground in Rodanthe NC. We hit it off right away and found we had a great deal in common; love of the ocean, enjoying nature, hot rods, travel, the History Channel and any thing Nat Geo. So we became friends. Laughter and simple easy going interactions were our normal. At the behest of the boys we started dating November 2014 long distance. My boys said they had the same feelings when they were around RJ as they did when they were alone with me. That was a big revelation. They liked how Ralph's boys were so kind and treated them like little brothers. So Tirzah moved to Virginia June 2015 and began teaching at Phoebus High School. Things were going so well and we were becoming a happy family, so we decided to take our next steps. We moved in together June 2017 in Poquoson and Rodanthe.  

On July 27,2019 at the top of the Hatteras Lighthouse we decided high tide or low tide, always by your side. 

I choose you, not because I think it will always be easy, but because with you I know that even on the dreadful, wretched, luckless days, when the the troubles of the world are downpours of thick, clammoring beating rain-you will LAUGH, take my hand and whisper delightfully,  DANCE WITH ME!
