What started as a typical Christmas morning of getting ready to see my family and taking care of the puppies turned into the most amazing day of my life! As we finished our coffee and discussed how much things had changed, the conversation turned into an amazing talk about what our future could be! Next thing I knew, Beau was asking me to be his bride!! I am the happiest, and luckiest bride to be, and got to visit my parents that day and share the amazing news right then and there! 

Would it be weird to say that I probably waited a little to long to pop the big question? lol. Meaning when someone truly loves someone, all they have to do is to share their affection and love. From there it is all downhill. Before I wanted to secure everything an individual asks for before popping the big question. The perfect house, the perfect car, the perfect job, the perfect trip to Disneyland, (lol) etc. I even wanted to ask in the most perfect way: either on a ship in the ocean or on a hiking trail that led to a beautiful view of a lake in the mountians or on screen in front of thousands, or even in the on a hillslope with the glistening snow come down on us. I kept waiting and waiting for that opportune moment and the more I waited for it, the more I felt it was not me, or even us. One thing I have learned is instead of waiting for life alone, take it by the horn and walk the journey together with the person who you love. When I learned that, all I had to do was ask. Sure I had butterflies leading up to it, but in the moment I felt it was me, because I was asking the girl I loved for her hand in marriage. It was actually the easiest thing I ever did in that it was destined to happen and it was destined to be true. With that said I kept it simple and asked in our cozy home in our most favorite time of the year: the holidays! I have never seen a bigger smile in all of my life and you can see it in our pictures that day of!!!
